Indigenous TeleCare

Women Transforming Elder-Focused Humanity in TeleCare

be the change

Women's Engaged Stewardship of community Health and Wellbeing

It takes fortitude to claim ownership of the health your community dreams about and deserves. We help communities build a TeleCare platform that works for Members lives and families - no matter what stage of life that may be. We help take the burden from Heath Centre Managers and administrators who are responsible for navigating health technology options and recruiting respectful medical professionals who align with your traditional culture and values. And, most importantly, meet the needs of Elders who are worthy of human touch.

Community telecare Needs Assessment

Women Transforming TeleCare provides the missing link for Indigenous communities to gain parity in health access and agency to live a good life - human comfort and respect.

Using our Community Health Needs and TeleCare Team Readiness Assessments, we help communities get to the root of healthcare barriers and limitations. We have expertise in assisting with the recruitment of providers for chronic diseases, mental health and allied health services delivery via virtual care.

We create new job opportunities and training for people where they live, preparing for jobs in the digital health industry. Our team helps your team develop TeleManager skills capacities necessary for the safe and secure administration of TeleCare. We don't leave teens behind, providing youth who may have been struggling with job opportunities can now train locally, in the comfort of their community to learn new job skills as a TeleMentor.

Funder presentations

Finally, in this awakened time of truth and reconciliation funding, Indigenous communities are able to claim access to the quality of healthcare they deserve. We help communities build their case with a strong TeleCare Implementation presentation to funders. Your administrators present community needs with a solid budget, community engagement plan, and implementation plan that ensures Members have a voice in how they gain access to respectful health services and successful health outcomes.

Communication & Implementation Strategy

Gaining trust for TeleCare adoption within Indigenous communities requires a delicate, considerate process that acknowledges historical trauma, prioritizes cultural safety, and emphasizes community engagement. This includes recognizing and addressing barriers to technology access, promoting patient virtual care literacy, and ensuring Indigenous voices are at the forefront of program design and implementation.

Your Women Transforming TeleCare team of trained TeleManagers and TeleMentors will have the confidence, resources and tech support to transition your community into meaningful, respectful and productive virtual care services that save lives.
